A Life-Changing Sunday Gathering

On May 31, 2026, the families of Let There Be Peace International Ministry joined together in one accord for a life-changing Sunday service. The message confronted the core battle of every believer: choosing “not my will but Yours be done”β€”and discovering that surrender is the doorway to divine direction and breakthrough.

Intercession and Praises

Covered by the Blood

Our intercessor opened the service, leading us in prayer. Together, we sought God’s mercy and favour and covered ourselves with His precious blood.

Mighty Worship

Our dynamic worship team ushered us into God’s presence:

  • “Enemy’s Camp” – Victorious praise
  • “Lamb of God” – Reverent worship

Your Will or God’s Will?

As Healing Evangelist J.K. Fenuku entered, he led us to Luke 22:40–43 with a penetrating question:

“Every individual has two wills: the will of God and their own will. These two are always in a tug-of-war, and as long as they are in conflict, your life will remain stagnant.”

The Solution:“For God’s will to prevail, we have to let go of our own will.”

Pray and Surrender Your Will

“God is telling us that through prayer, we can surrender our will.”

The Illusion of Self-Will

“At the beginning, your own will may look very beautiful, but in the end, God’s will is superior, and your own will is null and void.”

The Challenge:“Have you ever sat down and thought about what God’s will is for your life?”

The Example:“Jesus demonstrated this, and that is why He was able to carry the cross.”

It’s Not About Us, But Jesus

“When you are going through something, it is not you who is facing it, but Jesus. When you are facing disappointment, He feels it more than you do. When you are facing sickness, God feels it more than you do.”

The Choice Before You

“God has given you two wills; choose one. Without the peace of God, you will be unable to walk your journey.”

The Contrast:

  • “Your own will takes you nowhere”
  • “God’s will takes you where you need to be”

The Promise:“The will of God will remove every pain, every disappointment, and every fundamental issue of life.”

Make the Decision to Move Forward

“Jesus came to a point where He realized that He needed to make a decision. Have you reached that point?”

What Is God’s Will for You?

“It is to love your neighbor and to forgive those who have hurt you.”

The Standard:“If Jesus could come to the point of saying, ‘Not my will, but Yours be done,’ then who are we?”

The Requirement:“If you really want to see the will of God in your life, then you must let go of your own will.”

Do Not Be Swayed by Others’ Opinions

“What Jesus did with His apostles then, He is doing with us now. Jesus withdrew from them. He did not go to them and ask for their opinion; He withdrew and made the decision Himself.”

The Modern Trap:“Today, many people think too much about what others will say and end up making the wrong decisions.”

Divine Advice from Jesus Christ

“Jesus also gave us very good advice: ‘Pray continually so that you may not fall into temptation.'”

The Reality:“In other words, you are not the one making the decision; He is the One making the decision.”

Prayer as Decision-Making

“Without prayer, you will end up making the wrong decision. When you pray, God will make the decision for you.”

The Warning:“Never make a decision based on friendship.”

The Final Exhortation:“Jesus is telling you to pray so that you can let go of your own will. You have to make a decision so that you can move forward in life.”

When you truly pray “not my will but Yours be done,” you stop striving and start thriving in God’s perfect direction.

Prayer Focus

“O Thou Son of David, deliver me now, heal me now, bless me now, and save me now!”

“Every dark cloud in my life, I command you out right now in the Name of Jesus.”

Join us at Let There Be Peace International Ministry as we surrender our wills, embrace God’s direction, and move forward in divine purpose.
