Maintain Your Blessings
Scripture: Matthew 12:43–45
Pastor Fenuku shifted the focus from receiving to sustaining:
“Our sin took Jesus to the cross, not our righteousness. Our weakness brought the Holy Spirit, not our strength. When we come to Jesus, let us not pray for blessings, but instead pray for how to maintain our blessings when they come.”
The Promise:“In the house of God, as long as the Holy Spirit is there, anything you are looking for will come to you.”
The Question:“What are you looking for today?”
Who Should Rest—You or the Enemy?
Pastor Fenuku exposed the spiritual reality behind ongoing struggle:
“When you come to God, He will surely bless you—but can you maintain what He gives you?”
The Restless Spirit
“When the evil spirit comes out of you, it walks around seeking rest, looking for somewhere to go. That means when it is with you, it has a home and is resting while you suffer. When you are resting, it has no rest—but when it is resting, you have no rest.”
Never Allow Yourself to Be Empty
“In Christianity, God does not only give us the power to overcome the enemy, but also to cast him out. That demon, being restless, returns to you to find rest in you again.”
The Danger of Spiritual Emptiness
“When you are not praying and are not in the presence of God, you are empty and fertile for the enemy to destroy you. The enemy is always looking for this moment.”
To maintain your blessings, you must never leave your spiritual house vacant.
Do Not Allow the Devil to Re-Enter
“When the enemy finds you empty, he does not come alone—he brings much more evil spirits to deal with you.”
The Enemy’s Persistence
“The devil knows your address; he knows where to find you. The devil also has faith that he will catch you and return to destroy you.”
