Theme: Walk in Him Not With Him

A Life-Changing Sunday Gathering

The Let There Be Peace International Ministry family gathered on March 22, 2026, for a life-changing Sunday service. The message delivered a critical distinction that transforms everything: walk in Him, not with Him—being rooted and built up in Christ versus merely maintaining religious proximity.

Opening in Prayer and Praise

Surrendered Intercession

Our intercessor opened the service with powerful prayer, as we sought God’s mercy and surrendered all to Him.

Dynamic Worship

Our worship team led us into jubilant praise and mighty worship:

  • “He Has Lifted Me Higher” – Exultant celebration
  • “Awesome God, Mighty God” – Declarative praise
  • “Spirit Pray Through Me” – Deep intercession

Be Attentive to Hear God

As Healing Evangelist J.K. Fenuku entered, he shared a foundational lesson:

“Every time we are in the presence of God, God is asking, ‘What do you want Me to do?’ You can only hear the voice of God when you are attentive.”

Unshakeable Security

“What did not destroy or stop Jesus can never destroy or stop you.”

The Warning:“Don’t judge your relationship with Jesus by what you are going through, or by what you have or don’t have.”

Being Rooted and Built Up in Christ

Scripture Foundation: Colossians 2:6–8

Pastor Fenuku challenged inherited religion:

“Just because someone has been saying something for over 100 years does not mean that it is true. Only what works for you is true—you have to find that out for yourself.”

The Command: Walk in Him

“Paul is telling us that as you have received Jesus, you must walk in Him. You have received Jesus; therefore, you need to be rooted and built up in Him—not only rooted, but also built in Him—so false teachings may never mislead you.”

This is the essence of learning to walk in Him, not with Him.

You Need to Seek the Truth for Yourself

Shared Accountability

“If a pastor is preaching to someone and saying the wrong things, God will not only punish the pastor, but He will punish that person as well, because they were too lazy to find out the truth for themselves.”

The Critical Difference

“The Bible does not say walk with Him, but it says walk in Him. Walking with Him is flesh, but walking in Him is spirit.”

Walk in Him, not with Him—this changes everything.

How Do We Walk in Him?

Pastor Fenuku outlined the practical requirements:

Overcome Hatred

“You have to do something extraordinary to walk in Jesus. You have to love the one you hate the most.”

Resolve Conflict Before Worship

“If two friends are on their way to church and have an argument and do not resolve it, they become a hindrance to their prayers. Whatever you are praying will hit the ceiling and come down.”

The Difference: Walk in Him vs. Walk With Him

Selfless Service

“To walk in Jesus, you must not help someone who can return the favor, but help the one who cannot return the favor—the one who is not in the capacity to do so.”

Decrease for Increase

“John the Baptist said, ‘He must increase, but I must decrease.'”

The Result

“When you walk with Him, you can still see disappointment, failure, and setbacks in your life. But when you walk in Him, it is impossible to see these things. Your mind is completely changed.”

This is the power of choosing to walk in Him, not with Him.

Forgiveness Is the Key

The Parable of Two Prayers

“The Bible gives an example of two people who went to pray: one asked for mercy, and the other praised himself. Only the one who asked for mercy went home justified in his prayer.”

God’s Waiting Posture

“God is waiting for you to forgive and walk in peace so that He can bless you and multiply you.”

Worldly Stupidity, Godly Power

“What the world sees as stupidity is power. People of the world will say, ‘Don’t forgive—make them suffer.’ But when you release them, you open the door for God.”

Release Those Who Have Hurt You

Self-Imprisonment

“Most Christians are caging themselves because they find it very hard to let go of disappointment.”

Jesus’ Expectation

“Jesus is expecting you to do something great and release them from your heart.”

The Warning of Regret

“The Bible says many will be gnashing their teeth because they regret what they have done and what they did not do. So forgive, and keep moving forward.”

When you walk in Him, not with Him, forgiveness becomes your supernatural nature.

Prayer Focus

“In the name of Jesus, I break every demonic curse upon my life and family.”

“In the name of Jesus, I can see my doors being opened—doors of blessing, doors of healing, doors of deliverance. I can see them open!”

Join us at Let There Be Peace International Ministry as we learn to walk in Him, not merely with Him, and experience transformation from the inside out.
