Our intercessor opened the service in a time of prayer. Together, we thanked God, sought His divine mercy, and surrendered all unto Him.

The Bridegroom and the Ten Virgins
As Nikita Msizi entered, she shared an encouraging message before leading us to scripture:
“When you are planning a wedding, do you give an invitation to yourself or to those attending? You do not need an invitation to your own wedding, as long as your relationship with God is on track.”
Scripture: Matthew 25:1–13
“In this passage, we are talking about the bridegroom and the ten virgins. Who is the bridegroom, and who are the ten virgins? The bridegroom is Jesus, and we are the ten virgins.”
The Urgency:“What we need to know is that Jesus is coming soon. Whether we like it or not, He is coming for the second time.”
Building Your Character
“The virgins needed oil for their lamps to come on. The oil represents your character.”
Character Cannot Be Borrowed
“The foolish virgins asked the wise for their oil, meaning they asked the wise for their character before Jesus comes. Remember that we all have different characters. You cannot give your character to someone else.”
Character Is Visible
“You cannot go around saying, ‘I am a good person.’ Character is not shown by your words, but by your actions. Character is like a pregnancy; you can never hide it. Your true character will always come out.”
Character Is Built in Christ
“You cannot take someone else’s character. You need to build your own character by walking with Jesus. You cannot go around asking people for their spiritual life, their love, their forgiveness, their kindness, or their joy. All these things can be obtained through walking with the Lord. He will hold your hand and guide you.”
Choose Your Side
“In this life, you can never be on both sides. You can either be in the world or with Christ. You need to pick a side.”
No Dual Loyalty
“You cannot have two masters. You cannot switch back and forth depending on the day. Jesus wants all of us. He wants our 100%—not even 99.9%, but 100%.”
Exposing the Lie
“The world always says, ‘You can drink and smoke and womanize. It’s fine. Jesus will forgive you.’ But that is a lie from the pit of hell. When you sin, you become separated from God. Yes, Jesus is forgiving, but you cannot keep doing that to our Heavenly Father.”
Let Go of What Comes Before Jesus
“If you really want Jesus in your life, you need to cut off every ‘husband’ in your life.”
Identifying Your Idols
“‘Husband,’ meaning those things you love more than Jesus. They can be smoking, drinking, fighting, or womanizing. It needs to go.”
The Personal Price
“You need to be able to pay the price if you want to be able to be with Jesus. You cannot pay the price for someone else. Each and every one of us must pay our own price.”
Make Your Decision
Scripture: Revelation 3:16
“Jesus is saying, ‘You cannot be on both sides.’ You cannot be sitting on the wall. You must be either in or out, or else He will spit you out.”
Examine Yourself
“Examine yourself and where you stand in Christ. If you are out, ask yourself, ‘Do I want to go in?’ And if you are on the wall, ask yourself where you want to go.”
The Call:“Pick a side. Make a decision today.”
When you truly pick a side for Jesus, compromise dies, character flourishes, and your lamp burns bright for His soon return.
