The Blood of Jesus Is Fighting for You!
As Healing Evangelist J.K. Fenuku began sharing the sermon God placed in his spirit, he opened with a mighty declaration:
“The same blood that Jesus shed on the cross is the same blood that is fighting your battle. So stop allowing Satan to destroy your life and take control.”
The blood of Jesus is fighting for you—this truth is your weapon against every attack.
Jesus’ Question to Simon Peter
Scripture: John 21:15–17
Pastor Fenuku unpacked the profound exchange between Jesus and Peter:
“When Jesus was asking Peter, He was simply saying, ‘Peter, do you believe in Me and the promise that I made to you?'”
The Threefold Question
“The reason why He asked him three times is because, after the death of Christ, Peter said that he was going back to his past life of being a fisherman (John 21:3). Simon Peter lost all hope and faith in Jesus, so Jesus wanted to be sure.”
Faith and Love Are Connected
The service revealed the inseparable link between two spiritual forces:
“Faith and love work together. Where you find genuine love, you find genuine faith. And where you find genuine faith, you will find Jesus. And where you find Jesus, you will find your healing, blessing, and deliverance.”
The Evidence of Genuine Love
“Anyone who has genuine love does not hesitate to do anything. Look at yourself—do you hesitate?”
The Standard:“Where love and faith abide, the power of God is just like breathing.”
Peter’s Frustration, Our Lesson
“The third time Jesus asked, Peter was so angry, saying, ‘You know all things, and yet You are asking a third time if I love You.’ We learn so much about love and faith. We sing about it and talk about it. Stop talking about love and faith, and start living in it. Today, Jesus is asking you the same question.”
Because the blood of Jesus is fighting for you, your love must be genuine, not performative.
A Christ-Like Love
Scripture: Galatians 5:6
“Your faith cannot work without the love of Christ. You can pray on your knees until your knees get rotten, but nothing will happen.”
The Definition That Matters
“The power of God can never work without love—not romantic love between you and your boyfriend or girlfriend, but a love where, even if you and your neighbor are in conflict, you still love them and help them.”
Live in Love, Don’t Just Talk About It
Pastor Fenuku shared a personal revelation from God:
“One day, I was asking God why Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one, yet we have different names. And God told me, ‘We have one name, but for someone to experience it, one must have the love of God.’ Jesus is love. The Holy Spirit is love. God is love.”
The Final Exhortation:“Stop studying about love. Stop talking about it, and start living in it.”
When you truly believe the blood of Jesus is fighting for you, love becomes your natural response, not your religious obligation.
