Our intercessors opened the service by leading us in spirit filled prayer as we gave God thanks for all He’s done in our lives and seeked his face. Our Dynamic worship team then began to lead glorious praise (You are able), (Wangitatala) and mighty worship (Why should I fear)
A mighty declaration
Our man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku began the sermon with a powerful declaration saying, “My situation is turning around. I can see it turning around for my good. I am here to receive my antidote!”
What are the disciples really asking Jesus?
We began as the spirit lead us to scripture.(Luke 11 vs 1) . Our man of God started by saying, “Today I want to look at something we always bypass. What we are going to see here, I have not heard not one pastor preach this. What the scripture is saying, with normal eyes you will perceive it as: “Teach us to pray.” “
The question is, what is prayer? It was, they have been with Jesus for a long time, they had noticed that every decision Jesus makes, He makes through prayer. Every time Jesus prays the demons always give way. Jesus had the wisdom to answer to. They did not ask Him: “Teach us to heal, deliver.” What are they asking for?
The real meaning of prayer
They were watching Jesus carefully and as soon as He finished, they ran to ask Him. They are saying, “Lord, teach us how to be blessed, delivered…”
Now people only pray when they are struggling, when they have issues in this life. Many fall, but only the strong get back up! The strong are the ones always praying because they know that through prayer all decisions are made, people are healed, demons give way.
Speak directly to that which you are praying for.
The disciples are not asking Jesus how to pray “Our Father,” because the truth is Jesus does not use those words! No! He speaks directly to that problem, that mountain.
We do not see this because we are too lazy to find the truth. Jesus said, when Jesus met the fig tree, He did not say, “Our Father who art in heaven.” No! He spoke directly to the fig tree. That “Our Father” is just something that He gave us to put us in the bracket.
Every decision must be made through prayer.
The disciples noticed something special about Jesus. They noticed that He does not do anything without prayer. Remember that the devil is moving like a wounded lion, ready to devour anything that comes in his path. If you give him a small gap, he will destroy your life, your destiny, your education. When we begin to know Jesus, our prayer has to be transformed. We must stop the “Our Father” prayer. We need to look directly at our situation and speak directly to it. Do you ever speak directly to your situation? Whatever your family is going through, look at that situation and speak directly to that situation. It is not imaginary, everything in this world is a spirit.
Speak abundance upon yourself.
Whether you have prayed, no contrary spirit can pass through the fire of God. If it is unemployment that you are struggling with, speak to it direct. Do not beat around the bush. Begin to speak abundance upon your life. (Psalm 91 vs 7–8)
They will not come near you, because God is expecting you to speak abundance upon your life.God is expecting you to speak directly to your troubles and command them out. What are you saying when you go to prayer? What are you speaking? Many are comfortable in their trials.
Your words have power.
Paul said, “Let your words be seasoned,” that is, to speak blessings, speak deliverance, speak wisdom, to command the devil out.
Whatever is giving you nightmares, that which is stressing you out so much that you cannot sleep, look at it and speak to it directly. Tell it that it has no place in your life.
When you are going to an interview, what are you praying? Are you even praying? From today, I want you to look at your situation and stop seeing what the enemy wants you to see.
