“Come as you are” – that was the charge to God’s people during the service of Let There Be Peace International Ministry, on 15 December 2024, in celebration to give glory, honour and praise unto Jesus. The congregation came prepared to receive from Jesus as our intercessor, Mr. Jarus Naidoo, led us in prayer as we thanked Jesus for his grace and covered ourselves with His precious blood.

Our dynamic worship team then began singing joyous praises (Uma uJehovah) and (We wanna see Jesus lifted high) and adorning worship (New wine) and (Yebo nkosi Yami).

“There are 4 fundamental things in the Bible that we need to know as Christians.” said our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, as he entered and began to share the word God gave him. There’s four things that teach us who we are as children of God. It is a waste to come to church and go home without learning anything. Faith is not a mascot. Genuine faith is about doing what Faith requires so that when people notice you they can tell that you have faith. Faith is not about words but about action. Faith is not for the cowardly or for children. Are your actions showing the people around you that you have faith?

As our Man of God continued he led us to scripture to explain these 4 fundamental things.
(1 Peter 2:7-10). People today will say that God does not love them because of what they are facing but what are you doing to make God love you? God wants us to know who we are, where we are and where we are going. He is giving us the tools required for this coming year. The four things that Peter mentions are:
1. You are a CHOSEN GENERATION. This means He called you and He has a covenant with you. God has put value on you so stop disgracing Him by putting yourself down. A covenant means you have a relationship with Him and whatever you need He will do it. God has sealed this covenant with His only son’s precious blood so do not let any other person deceive and destroy that covenant.
2. You are a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD so that you bring a living Jesus to a dying community, family and country. When others look at you are they inspired to change their lives or do they look at you and hate to be a child of God? Which category do you fall in? God has made you a royal priesthood so that when the world looks at you they will run to Him. You need to be living through the covenant you have with God.

3. You are a HOLY NATION and because of this, He has separated you for Himself and because he has a covenant. He has anointed you so that you can bring people to His kingdom. You must realized that God is not trying to stop you from enjoying your life but instead He is protecting you for Himself. God has put us in this world but He also stated that we are not part of this world. Unfortunately, nowadays Christians are doing the same things the worldly people are doing. Recognize that you are a part of a greater purpose and begin to live righteously.
4. You are a PECULIAR PEOPLE. You are special because you have been accepted to be part of the body of Christ meaning that if anyone insults you, they are insulting God. When you see someone who has given their all to Jesus, they can either be a blessing or a curse to your life. They are a blessing when you acknowledge what God is doing through them. They are a curse when you begin to insult them. When you are hurting them you are also hurting God. God does not overlook these things.

Who are you to God? Are you saved and if so what are you saved from? Where are you going from here? Are you going to look down on yourself because people are insulting you? Are you running to Jesus or from Him? When you are out with friends and they want to do unholy things, what goes through your mind? Are you insulting strangers or loving them? Begin to examine yourself and whether you are still a Christian. God does not care about how you look, He cares about what is in your heart. He has given us valuable lessons to use throughout our lives. Forget about pleasing the world and turn to Jesus and His Word. Amen!

MASS PRAYER (THIS WEEK MAY THE LORD REMEMBER YOU)
Oh thou Son of David, remember me and my family!
Father God, speak strength into us. Let the power of freedom, healing, deliverance fall afresh on us today, in the name of Jesus Christ.
