WHAT IS YOUR CONFESSION?

As the month of May comes to a close, and we prepare to enter a new season in the coming week, the arena of Let There Be Peace International Ministry in Hibberdene was set ablaze once again as the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit located this anointed ministry on the 26th May 2024. The intercessor Mrs Fatima led the congregation in a prayer of Thanksgiving, asking God for mercy, and covering themselves with the blood of Jesus.

The warfare prayer was bold and full of authority as the church began to come against every chain of bondage holding our blessings, our healing, our deliverance and our breakthrough, to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. Bodies and spirits were energized, as the congregants broke out in declarations of healing and deliverance.

Heaven shone down as our Dynamic Worship Team opened the session with vibrant praises (Excess love) and (Big God), as the church danced with all their might. The altar was prepared for worship as our awesome team began to prayerfully sing (Give me Jesus). The Sovereign presence of God, humbled congregants to their knees as they worshipped the name of Jesus. Ushers moved in to serve our first time visitors that were overwhelmed by the elaborate presence of God.

Entering the arena under a prophetic anointing, the Man of God prompted the congregation to further pursue the presence of God with the worship song (I surrender). As the session culminated, yet still in an attitude of prayer and worship, the Man of God began to ask the church “What is your confession? What was your confession yesterday, and what was your confession this morning?”. He continued to say, whatever you confess with your mouth, is what you put on the throne. It becomes what you give power to in your life.

There was an exclamation of awe from the congregation as they began to spiritually digest what the Spirit of God was revealing through the Man of God. If you confess blessing, blessings will be on the throne, if healing, healing will be on the throne. Likewise, if you confess sickness, poverty and suffering, then that is what you put on the throne, and you give it power over your life. Whatever you confess today shall be established tomorrow…the power of confession. Wow…a word like you have never heard it before. We give glory to God for giving such dynamic insight and revelation to His anointed oracle. The scripture readings were taken from (Proverbs 18:21), (James 3:4) and (1 Samuel 17:42-45). As the Man of God continued, he said your mouth is the way to your destiny and you cannot go further than your mouth allows you to go. “Christianity is called ‘the great confession’ “.

We come to church and declare blessings and favor, but what have you been saying in your homes, in private over your children, over your spouse in the heat of the moment? The tongue is not only for tasting food, but also for declaring the promises of God. Wherever you are today is what you have declared and established yourself to be. IT IS NOT GOD’S FAULT! If you allow your tongue to declare nonsense, you will receive nonsense, if you allow your tongue to declare blessings, healing, deliverance, then that is what you will receive. Being an engineer by profession, Healing Evangelist JK Fenuku proceeded to teach the church by using an example from his career as the chief engineer on a vessel.

He said, speaking from experience, the engineer on a ship has the authority to change the course and direction of a gigantic vessel by simply changing the direction of the rudder which is a very small part of the ship, in like manner your tongue is a very small part of your body yet it can change the course of your life in accordance with what you use it to confess. Take advantage of the words you say. From today begin to declare the promises of God. Do not be moved by your situation, your declaration can change your destiny. David when facing Goliath did not rely on the weapon he was carrying, but declared the defeat of his enemy (1 Samuel 17:46). What you choose to declare in the midst of adversity and insults is your “break point”. Walk in your declaration, do not change your confession. Cancel in prayer whatever the enemy uses you to say through your emotions.

No matter the stress or pressure…never declare evil. Walk out of unwholesome, negative conversations. Friendship is not by force but by choice. Your daily confession should be, “I am only entitled to good news, bad news does not know my name”. Allow the Holy Spirit to establish the positive declarations from your lips. The man of God pointed out our senior member of the ministry, who at the age of 77 was healed of fourth stage cancer as she accepted and declared the word of God that was spoken over her life through the Man of God. It is never too late to change your words that can change your life. Remember that life and death are in the power of your confession.

Mass Prayer:

Whatever my dream or blessing the enemy has swallowed up, I command them to vomit it out in the mighty name of Jesus.
