A Wonderful Gathering in God’s Presence
On December 7, 2025, the family of Let There Be Peace International Ministry assembled for a transformative Sunday service. The message centered on a foundational yet challenging calling: to be holy for I am holy—reflecting God’s own character in our daily lives.

Opening in Intercession and Praise
Prayer of Mercy and Thanksgiving
Our dedicated intercessors opened the service, leading the congregation in heartfelt prayer. Together, we sought God’s mercy and expressed gratitude for His ongoing work in our lives.
Dynamic Worship
Our worship team ushered us into God’s presence with anointed praise and worship:
- “Every Praise” – Joyful celebration
- “I Know Who I Am” – Identity declaration
- “See What the Lord Has Done” – Mighty worship and testimony

Understanding Holiness: Be Holy for I Am Holy
As Sharlene Moonligan entered the sanctuary, she guided us to 1 Peter 1:14–16, unpacking a question that defines the Christian life:
“We are called to be holy, but the question is: what is holiness?”
Holiness Is Love
Holiness is a character of God. And we know that God is love.
“The love of God is loving even when you feel someone does not deserve your love. Even if that person has hurt you, betrayed you, or rejected you, God wants you to love them.”
To be holy for I am holy means loving beyond human capacity—loving as God loves.

The Attributes of God We Must Reflect
Power
“There is power in His name, and when we become holy, we become vessels to use that power.”
God reigns in power and love. When we embrace the call to be holy for I am holy, we become conduits of that same power.
Purity
“One of the greatest attributes of God is purity. When we become holy, He cleanses us and makes us pure.”
Entering With Reverence
True holiness requires the right posture:
“When we come into the presence of God, we need to walk in with reverence, meaning with godly fear—a fear of someone who is mighty and powerful, not a pastor or the members of the church, but God.”
The Promise: When we approach with this reverence, “whatever we are looking for will surely come to pass.”

Obedience: The Evidence of Love
“If you love God, you will obey His Word. You will obey the message through the man of God.”
Destiny Helpers
God sends destiny helpers to guide us toward our purpose. In this ministry, we are blessed with our man of God as that helper. The instruction was clear:
“Be absorbed in the message he gives you. Grab it, absorb it, and watch your life change.”
Separation: Light Cannot Dwell With Darkness
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:14
“How can light and darkness be together? If you are a child of God, then you are light. Wherever God is, this light follows.”
To be holy for I am holy means maintaining separation from darkness. We are children of the light—we cannot join hands with those in darkness.
Your Body: The Temple of the Living God
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:16–17
“God is saying that when we leave the darkness and those unholy behaviors, God will come into our lives. We are the temple of the living God.”
Holiness in Practice
- Your body is a house for the Holy Spirit
- We cannot smoke or drink and expect the Holy Spirit to dwell there
- We cannot grieve the Holy Spirit and expect His presence

A Divine Partnership
“Jesus does not fight. He walks with purity, calmness, and holiness, and we need to be just like that.”
We are in partnership with God:
- We do our part: Come with humility and love
- God does His part: Removes whatever troubles us
“Whatever is not of God must give way in the presence of God.”
The Right Atmosphere for Breakthrough
“When you come to church for the wrong reasons, your life will stay the same.”
But when you come with the right mindset—tired of your situation, expecting sickness and stagnation to leave—transformation happens.
The Final Exhortation:“Disconnect yourself from the things keeping you in bondage. Be holy, for the God that you serve is holy.”

Prayer Focus
“In the name of Jesus, every evil garment right now, I command you out. Garment of sickness, garment of poverty, I command you out.”
Join us at Let There Be Peace International Ministry as we pursue holiness and partnership with God.
