On July 6, 2025, members of Let There Be Peace International Ministry gathered for a powerful service.
Opening prayers and worship

The intercessors started us off with prayer, asking for God’s guidance, mercy, and protection in Jesus’ name. Our lively worship team then led us in joyful praise (We want to see Jesus) and heartfelt worship (I almost let go).

A message from God through our woman of God
As we began the sermon, our woman of God, Pearl Fenuku opened with a powerful message, “The Bible says that you shall know the truth, and the truth you know will set you free. Whatever you are going through is not to be forgotten. I am here to tell you the Good News: that Jesus is in the business of healing, delivering, and saving you. But Jesus will not do so just because you have suffered—He will do it because it is in His nature to do so.”

The importance of the Bible to God.
We then were led to Holy scripture (Joshua 1:8). In this Scripture, Jesus has given us a solution to our problems. But the question is: do we take God seriously? The Word of God is so precious to Him. His life is vast in power, and when you look at us as Christians, many do not understand this. Jesus and the Word are one. The Word of God reveals Jesus to us, children of God.
Stop dismissing the Word.
Many only want to serve God for what He gives; they do not want to go beyond that. After church, they push their Bibles aside and disconnect from Him. God offers so much—He blesses the world by being a blesser to the world. Christians go to church every week and still remain stuck in the same situation.
The Word of God is the light of God. You can only truly love Him when you follow His Word. But today, we make excuses. You don’t mind going to work, to a party, or to a friend’s house—but you make excuses for Jesus.
Reading the Word brings us close to God.
Remember, reading the Bible is our only way of communicating with God. Because we have neglected Him in times of crisis, we face many disappointments. We end up following others and doing things we shouldn’t—like swearing, prostituting, insulting, drinking, and so on.
You need to represent Christ in your daily life.
When Jesus came to earth, he already knew that this world was corrupt. And that is why he gave us his word, so that we can be like him, speak like him, do everything like him. But because we have neglected the word, we are only Christians by name, on our actions out of the world. Our non-believer friends and co-workers are even laughing behind our backs.

We learn Jesus by reading our Bible.
The word says to study the word of God, day and night. That is the only way we can show that we really love Jesus. We have to spend time with God, to really know him.
Do not be satisfied with just hearing about how great Jesus is. Why don’t you find out for yourself? It is your duty to read the word. The man of God cannot come to your house and force you to read the word.
Build a relationship with God or you will be left behind.
You need Jesus every day. That is why you need to read the Bible every day. Are you tired of your situation? Acknowledge God in your life, not only by words, but by actions. Jesus is only coming to take those who obey his word. If you don’t have the word of God in you, then Jesus is not coming for you.
What you have doesn’t matter to God.
Church is not only about blessing. You are blessed already. It is only for you to place your heart upon God. Then the blessing will come. Being a child of God is not about how much money, clothes, or cars you have. If your wealth is important to God, then why would God tell people to leave their jobs to follow Christ? Why would he choose fishermen as his disciples?
Set your eyes upon Christ.
Our life is not about Jesus. It is not about us. Love Jesus whether you have or don’t love.Nowadays, people are so comfortable in their situation that they don’t care to know God. Stop struggling with what you have. Believe God first. Read your Bible. Jesus will see you through. He wants to reveal himself to you, but you have to allow him. Amen.

Prayer points.
1. Lord Jesus, forgive me of my ignorance, for I did not feel better. Give me the grace to serve you.
2.Lord Jesus, I have heard you save, save me now. I have heard that you bless, bless me now. I have heard that you deliver, deliver me now. I have heard that you heal, heal me now.
