The members of Let There Be Peace International Ministry came together on the 15th of September 2024 for another powerful Sunday service in God’s presence, with every heart open and expecting to receive a mighty blessing.
Our intercessor, Mr. Vikesh Maharaj, opened the service by leading the congregation in prayer. The church prayed with authority commanding every dry bone in our lives to rise again in the mighty name of Jesus.
With the members now energized for the Lord, our dynamic worship team began to lead us blessed praise (Father to you Lord), (The days of Elijah) and marvellous worship (Why should I fear) and (Give me you).
As our woman of God, began to share the teaching of God she started by encouraging us, saying “Let go of what is keeping you in bondage for the word of God says that we are a peculiar people, set apart for His glory.” The word of God is clear on how God wants us to live but we sometimes choose to be ignorant because we are comfortable and familiar with the way we have always lived, even though that life is harmful to us. But God is now telling us to come out from that life and return to Him.
We then took to scripture (2 Corinthians 6 vs 16-17). The word of God is telling us to come out from those things holding us back from being one with Him. We need to separate ourselves from all which is ungodly and only when we do that will He live with us and walk amongst us. He will not share a space with His enemy therefore it is essential that we separated ourselves from what is not of God. When He comes in, all those negative spirits have to scatter.
There are three steps we need to follow after the separation:
1. Meditation- We need to turn to the word of God and constantly meditate on it. The time that we would spend doing what is ungodly, use it to pray and meditate on the Word. If you were spending your time gossiping, use that time now to pray for those people. When you separate yourself, your lifestyle has to change.
2. Waiting- Just as Moses climbed the mountain and waited, we need to also wait on God. The bible uses the words forbearance and long-suffering to describe waiting on God. God will not give us a specific time to expect Him, it is up to us to go through that period of long-suffering and diligently wait on God.
3. Keep your mind on God- Stop focusing and dwelling on your situation but rather look to God and keep your mind on Him and His promises. When we set our minds on Him, it proves our Faith in Him but if we are focusing on our situation it means we do not have the level of Faith that God wants from us.
As our woman of God continued she took us to scripture once again (2 Timothy 2 vs 20-21). We cannot do anything on our own but when we cleanse ourselves from those worldly things we will become vessels of honour. The world looks at Children of God in disdain because the purpose for vessels of honour is greater than that of common vessels. Being a vessel of honour is our reward for being separated from all which is not of God.
We are meant to dwell in God’s presence, everything we do must be done in Him. It is important for us to be constantly praying in our hearts throughout the day because that is how we remain separated. A separated life is not easy because once we live the life God wants for us all those people who are still in the world will leave you. When we are separated God will keep only those who are also separated close to you. Separated people are not meant to stay stagnant, we are constantly moving in God and doing His work.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I disconnect myself from every worldly, ungodly, wicked spirit that is at work in my life. I separate myself from the things of the world. I separate myself from every chain that is holding me in bondage. I separate myself from the mentality of the world and I focus my attention on Jesus, the author and finisher of my fate.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that I am blessed to be a blessing, I am healed to bring healing, I am delivered to bring deliverance. I am a vessel of honour, separated for great works in the Kingdom of God.
