In a spirit of love and unity, the Let There Be Peace International Ministry congregation came together on the 27th of April 2025 for a glorious Sunday service. We began service by launching into a powerful session of intercession, thanking and praising our Lord Jesus Christ, and washing ourselves with His precious blood.

Our dynamic worship then led us triumphant praise (Bayede), (Big God) and humble worship (I want more of you) , honoring God with joyful hearts and voices.

As the sermon began, our Man of God Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, started by sharing some holy advice with the church:
Never go to Jesus with a preconceived idea. That’s why, when most go to Jesus, they don’t get what they’re looking for. When we come to Jesus, we have to open our hearts and tell Him, “Do what You will.” No matter what you’re going through, go to God and pray. The more you talk to God and pray, the more grace God gives you to come out of that situation. When we don’t go to God, that’s when the doubt comes in.
In the beginning, God gave Adam and Eve the instruction to never take from the tree. But the devil made a mockery of God. When they began to think about what the enemy had said, that was their downfall. The same thing happens today. We have to believe God and trust in Him fully.

We then turn to scripture to dig deeper into the word that God has placed into our man of God’s heart (Jonah 2:2). Stop looking at your problems and see your solution and speak it into existence. God never looks at our problems; He always sees our solution, so we should do the same. Jonah did not complain; instead, he made a statement saying, “I am not looking at my surroundings. I cried to God, and He heard me. I can see the belly opening, and me coming out.”
Do not speak your problems; the moment you do, Satan is happy. That’s why he puts people around you that make you speak your problems. God does not walk with people who doubt. The Bible made a statement that Jonah was in a very big fish, but did you ever think about what else was in the belly with Jonah? Jonah realized something very important: he realized that in his situation, God is still saying something. So, he will not doubt; he will speak his solution and see it come to pass.
If a community can realize the same thing, we will no longer see that community the way it is, but we will begin to see what it will become through God. God didn’t only speak to Jonah when he was going through no challenges; God met Jonah in those challenges. So, God wants to meet you in your challenges as well. Glorify God in your challenges; stand firm and know that He is there and holding your hand. You have to know God to understand Him.

Christians nowadays give up too quickly. God is waiting for you in your challenges; He’s waiting to meet you there so He can change you. In every situation, speak to God and praise Him. The reason you cannot feel Him or see Him is because of your own doubt. You have to be able to praise God with the little that you have before you can praise Him in your abundance. So, make it a habit to praise God with everything that comes your way.
God uses our situation to draw us close to Himself so that we will not be destroyed. For you to be able to come out of your situation you have to praise God through your situation. When you praise God through your situation, you are being just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, telling your situation, “Yes, you are powerful, but I have the God of gods on my side, and He will bring me out of this fire.”
God is saying something in my situation. I might have nothing today, but God is preparing me for my blessing. Let those around you laugh at you; let them insult you, because tomorrow is a mystery. Jonah said, “I cried out from hell.” That means that there was a bunch of rubbish with him. Any ordinary person would say, “Okay, I have come to die,” but Jonah said, “I cried, and You heard me.”
Never judge your life according to those around you, and never think that you are meant to have the little that they have. No, your name is different; you are not them. Change your attitude and begin to praise God in your hardships. Stop looking at your problems and begin to see your healing and breakthrough. Amen!
