On the 17th of August 2025, The Let There Be Peace International Ministry family convened once again for a dynamic Sunday service.

Powerful prayer and worship.
Our intercessors began the service by leading us in prayer. The congregation prayed covering ourselves with His blood and surrendering to Jesus. Our dynamic worship team then entered and began a joyous celebration of praise (My hands are blessed) and worship (Here I am to worship).

God only rewards the obedient.
Our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku opened the sermon by leading us to scripture (Joshua 6:1-5)
Obedience brings healing, blessing, breakthrough, and deliverance. Obedience gives us Jesus Himself. When He comes to the battle, the enemy knows that he has already lost. God does not reward the smartest. If you think God will reward you because you are so smart, you have failed. God only rewards the obedient.
Obedience goes together with healing, victory, blessing, and deliverance. For example, those who are the smartest in school, those who get distinctions for every subject — when it comes to life after school, you will find that they are the ones struggling. As long as you are obeying God, you are the one who is winning the battle. You are the one with the victory.

Following God’s instruction
God said to Joshua that He has placed the whole city in his hands. And not just that, but the strongest man in the city as well. This applies to all of us today. God is always walking towards you. It is up to you to know when and how to stretch your hand and touch Him. This morning, He is walking towards you. Only you know when to touch Him.
As they carried on, they met a red sea again. But God urged Joshua, saying that He has placed everything into Joshua’s hand, so he should not worry. Yet Joshua still had to follow God’s instruction. The Bible did not state whether it rained or the sun was shining brightly, but they still walked around the wall as per God’s instruction. In today’s time, we would complain. But Joshua followed God’s instruction, and his reward surely came.

Victory is only for those who follow God’s instruction.
What is God telling you to do for your breakthrough to come? God never rewards the hardworking — no matter how much effort you are putting in. If you do not follow His instruction, He will never reward you. God only rewards the obedient, those who follow His instruction.
God is telling us that the victory is ours already, but in order for you to enjoy the rewards, you have to obey His instruction. Until you do what God is asking you to do, you will not enjoy God.
Stop looking at your situation
When you begin to judge yourself because of your position and what you have or don’t have, that’s the reason why you are where you are. When you take the wrong path and ignore Jesus, what you will go through is much worse than what you would face walking with Jesus.

Stop sleeping and pray!
Every midnight, a decision is being made about you. Those who wake up to pray at that time will gain favor from God. No matter how bad you are, God will still defend you. The only way that Satan can win that judgment is when he tells God: “Look, they are sleeping. They do not care about You. You do not play about Your Word.”
Now, as soon as that judgment is made, the enemy begins to inflict sickness, darkness, and problems while you are sleeping. But those who are praying are being covered by the Holy Spirit. They wake up feeling refreshed and energized for the day. Your blessing, your healing, your breakthrough is in your hands.
We are one in God.
(Ephesians 1:4, 5, and 11)
God chose me and you before the creation of the world. As long as your mother gave birth to you, it means that He Himself personally chose you. Everything was already decided before you were born. He called us to be His own sons and daughters. We are His children. In God, there is no skin color or race. We are all one.

Prayer:
O Lord, show me mercy.
