New month, fresh anointing, was the declaration at Let There Be Peace International Ministry on the 1st of September 2024.
Our intercessor, Mr Vikesh Maharaj, led the church in warfare prayer coming against every scheme of the enemy and uprooting every seed the enemy has planted in our lives, in the mighty name of Jesus.
The congregation prayed fervently until their hearts were freed and surrendered to the will of God Almighty. Our Dynamic Worship Team took over from the powerful time of prayer with electrifying praises, (Awesome God), (There is something that makes me come into your presence), followed by anointed worship, (Awesome God – Sinach), and (Anointing fall on me). It was a splendid time of dancing and celebration in the presence of our LORD Jesus Christ.
The anointing in the arena was rich and in good measure as the Man of God began to declare, “He is doing a new thing in your life”, as he welcomed the church and our online viewers to the “month of Fruitfulness”. Our scripture reading was taken from (Luke 3:21-22), as the Man of God began to unpack from the word of God like we have never heard it before.
Now, you may have heard this portion of scripture being preached on before by many other men and women of God, but the revelation that God gave to Healing Evangelist JK Fenuku was riveting, so much so, that the congregation was up on their feet. He began to teach us by saying, the devil only began to tempt Jesus after God the Father made the announcement ‘Thou art My Son’. In the same way, the day you receive Jesus as LORD over your life, is when the battle line is drawn between you and the devil.
In other words, the devil takes notice of, and gives special attention to you and all things concerning you. Whenever you get prayed for, for healing, deliverance, breakthroughs, and blessings, the devil will surely have something to say to you about it. The Man of God used an example of healing over a person who cannot walk. When a man of God prays over you and declares you are healed, that’s when the devil will taunt you with doubtful thoughts about why you are not yet walking, or why you are feeling pain when you do walk?! The enemy will always make you doubt what God is saying to you, I mean our common enemy will question what God about you. He will cause you to question what God has said about your life. The Man of God advised us, never sit down and begin to ponder on what satan has put in your head because that will be the beginning of your downfall.
He continued to point out Eve in the Garden of Eden when the devil asked her, “Did God really say..?”(we can see the enemy questioning what God said). Eve paid attention and gave thought to satan’s words. Hence, she failed to obey God. He went on to say, “A man of faith does not make sense, but a doubtful person makes a lot of sense.” Faith will always be scrutinized and questioned. He continued to say, from today, never think about what the enemy is whispering in your ears. It may make a lot of sense, but be careful. Many people have missed and lost their healing and deliverance by listening to the voice of the enemy. They chose to doubt what God has said because they lacked faith.
The devil’s reasoning will make sense to those who lack faith. When your own personality and image outshine Jesus, you will never receive anything from Him. The Man of God encouraged the congregation to stand on the word of God irrespective of what is happening around them, in their health, in their families, at their jobs. Believe in God, he said, trust in Him because His word will never fail. We see it over and over again in the Bible that God comes through time and time again, so hold onto Him. As we came to a close, the Man of God reiterated, let the voice of faith be louder than the voice of doubt. My brothers and sisters always stay with God. Amen
