MAINTAINS

Let There Be Peace International Ministry family came together on the 4th of May once again to worship and celebrate our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As we began service our intercessor led us in a Holy time of intercession as we thanked Jesus and surrendered unto Him.

Our Dynamic worship team then led us in jubilant praises (Tambira Jehovah) and (Liberate my Spirit), (Inhliziyo yami igcwele wena) glorious worship.

Our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, began sharing the word that God placed in his heart and he started by sharing a mighty revelation: “When you come to God, forget about your yesterday. Today God has given us a full dose of our healing. The antidote you need, God has given us today.”

In God, we fight to receive what God has for us. At the same time, we have to fight to keep it. Through prayer, we receive it, so through prayer, we must maintain it. When we come to church, we tend to always pray for blessings, but we need to pray to maintain it. And when we do, they become sure in our lives.

As we continued, we were led to scripture to prove this God-given revelation. (Deuteronomy 2:24-25)

Life is not about life itself; it’s about the worship of God and the will to do His will. Life has more to offer than this world. When you think life is about material gains, you lose the point of life itself. You will not be able to maintain what God has given you.

God has told us, “I have given you the key; possess it, but you have to fight for it.” God has the power to give you freely, but He says, “Go and fight for it.” So, in God, we fight to receive it, and we fight to keep it.

Many come to God, pray and pray for their blessings, but once they receive it, they don’t pray anymore. What they do is they change their lifestyle, their clothes, their friends, the food they eat, their church and sometimes even their spouse. They don’t know that they are falling into the trap of the devil. That’s why you see many that God has blessed multiple times, but they are not moving forward. That’s a big mistake. You have insulted God, and no pastor can turn the hand of God.

We were led to scripture once again, (Deuteronomy 6 vs 10-12). In the scripture, the Lord says, “Beware.” This means that He is warning us to be careful. Whatever you are looking for, He will give you, but once you are full, be careful so that you do not forget what He has done. For instance, if you are looking for a job and you are offered a ten thousand rand salary, you would be ecstatic about it, but once you are full, you want more; you are not satisfied anymore.

It’s the same with God. We come to God in desperation. So, be very careful. What you are praying for; God will surely give you, but never forget about what God has done for you. Whatever you are going through is only a season. When God breaks that chain of bondage, He breaks it permanently.

Now, let’s take a look at how Solomon was so scared to lose the blessing of God. He knew that God would surely bless him, but he needed to maintain what God had given him (Proverbs 30:7-9). Solomon was the richest man, yet he prayed this dangerous prayer. He did not ask for riches; he asked God to give him only what he needed. Someone who lacked nothing, whom not even the whole world combined can compare their wealth to, knew a secret: that everything he had was borrowed from God. He knew that if he wasn’t careful, he would lose everything.

When you want to know people who really love God, you will see it in their dedication to God during the winter and rainy season. When other’s say it’s too cold to go to God, and when they are in their blankets instead of going to God, when the time comes God will also say it’s too cold.

Allow the blessings of God to draw you close to God. Allow your circumstances to draw you close to God. When you are going through a very hard time and God blesses you, don’t give away everything. Keep one item on your wall so that you can see it and remind yourself where you have come from. When you make the mistake and you don’t have that one item to remind yourself, you are in big danger. Be very careful because what you have can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. Amen.
