The Spirit of the LORD filled the arena of Let There Be Peace International Ministry on the 9th June 2024, as the intercessor Mrs Fatima led the congregation in prayer. The church prayed against every spirit of weakness in our lives to give way and be removed, and for every chain of bondage to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus.

The presence of God was tangible as our Dynamic Worship Team set the atmosphere on fire with vivacious praises (Ose iye), (My God is good), (Yahweh) and (Sin’s power over me is broken). It was a glorious time of praise and worship unto the Most High, as the Man of God began to speak, “Today, let Jesus breathe upon you the breath of life, the breath of healing, the breath of blessing, the breath of deliverance, and the breath of breakthrough. Let Him breathe upon you now!” The congregation followed suit and began to declare, “This is God’s time for me. My time does not matter.

What God wants to do in and through me, He will do today”. The faith of the congregants were elevated as they listened attentively to the Man of God as he continued to ask, What do you see in your past, is it not bitterness, unforgiveness, sickness, betrayal, affliction and infirmity? There’s nothing good or beautiful, only disappointment and defeat. When Jesus steps in, He puts an end to our past, and our sickness becomes healing, disappointment turns into appointment, failure to success, and poverty to blessings. When you let go of your past, you open the doors of blessings, healing and breakthrough.

The church began to self-reflect as the Man of God took us to scripture, (Luke 5:8-11), (Matthew 19:16-22) and (1Kings 19:19-21). The Man of God recapitulated the pure, undiluted word of God and said, We serve a God who is Spirit, and needs a body to function and to operate through. Those who know this value Him, more than what they have acquired or achieved. Many are focused on material possessions, and the things of this world rather than focusing on Jesus. People do not value what God desires to teach them, and how He intends to use them, because their attention and focus is on the world.

The disciples who were fishermen left their livelihood in the boat and followed Jesus without looking back. They understood that earthly wealth brings disappointment, offense, betrayal, insults, and the likes, and can not be compared to the presence of God. Elisha did the unthinkable and left all his wealth to follow the voice of God through the prophet Elijah, and he received what the young man in Matthew 19:16-22 did not receive because he valued his earthly possessions more than God. Both the disciples and Elisha did not count the cost of following Jesus. Strip yourselves of pride as it won’t take you anywhere, worth going.

Those who have been sent to you, will eventually leave you if you keep on looking back and holding onto the things of your past, the insults, disappointments and unforgiveness. The Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK Fenuku drove his point home as he asked the church, When you look at Jesus, do you see the One that gave His all for you, or are you comparing Him to your material possessions? All that you have today is borrowed, your health, your job, your car, your jet, even your families, all can be taken away.

If the Master isn’t looking for you in your past, why are you still going back there? He continued to say, “Some hands are opened in the physical, but closed tight in the spiritual because of the hold on our past still has over us, because we are always looking back to remember our past. Whatever you have been praying for, God has already released it to you, but you will only receive it when you let go of the things of the past. Move forward, and allow your blessings, healing, deliverance and breakthrough to locate you in Jesus name”.
REMEMBER! Never count the cost of following Jesus. Amen!

MASS PRAYER:
Oh LORD, breathe Your breath of life on me and my family. That breath of healing, that breath of breakthrough, breathe on me right now in Jesus mighty name
