It’s was yet another memorable day at LTBPIM on the 14th April 2024, as the intercessor Mrs Fatima reminded the congregants and our online viewers that our God is a “do it again God”, and He is blameless. With reassured hearts, the church began giving thanks unto God, praying for mercy, as they covered themselves with the blood of Jesus and began to pull down strongholds.
The prayer points reiterated the authority we have as children of God to overcome the weapons of the enemy. The congregants began to wage war against every evil weapon designed for our lives, and for every demonic spirit and invisible power to be broken in the name of Jesus. Hearts were set free and the church was energized in their spirits, as our vibrant worship team brought down the presence of God.
The people began to dance as they praised the Lord through songs (At the mention of your name) and ( Jehovah, You are the Most High). What a joyful time at the altar as our dynamic team led us in a medley of worship (I surrender all to you), (I give myself away), and (Wrap me in Your arms).
The atmosphere was charged, as the man of God began to unpack a riveting message through the power of the Holy Spirit. Taking the podium, the man of God began to speak a powerful word over the church and our online viewers as he reminded us through scripture that, “The stone that the builders have rejected has become the chief cornerstone”. Man of God began to ask the congregants “Who is rejecting you and your family?”, as he prompted the church to declare that they are coming out of their night of weeping, and they are walking in their morning. He went on to encourage us that Jesus (our blessings, healing, deliverance, breakthrough) is always walking towards us. We need to learn how to reach out and touch Him. Only by the Spirit will we know where to touch Jesus, in the same way that the woman with the issue of blood knew how, and where to touch Him. Our scripture reading was taken from Matthew 25:1-13
The man of God shared with us the true meaning of this scripture like we have never heard it before. Wow! What a spiritual awakening to the body of Christ. He began with saying that the only way we can be identified as being with Jesus is to have what He has. The oil that the five wise virgins carried was CHARACTER…..Wow! Glory to God for revealing His word through His anointed servant healing Evangelist JK Fenuku. The man of God began to teach us that character cannot be given in a day, but it is a process, and every individual has to build their own character. He went on to say that Christ like character can take you to where you need to be, and bad character can even shut doors in your life. Character is built by overcoming insults and difficult times outside the church. Taking us back to the story of the 10 virgins, the five were wise because they knew that scripture teaches us that Jesus will come as a thief in the night, and they were ready. The oil represented their character that was pleasing to God, and therefore they were accepted. The man of God continued to say that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. He encouraged us that we need destiny helpers, because we cannot make it alone. God will change and polish us, and He will not send us if we are not polished. As the man of God led us to self reflect, he asked us to examine ourselves and see if how we are living is beneficial to us. He closed the sermon with asking “If Jesus came today, will you be ready to go with Him?”
