Let There Be Peace International Ministry congregation united on the 20th of April 2025, for a powerful Sunday worship service, celebrating faith and community. In a joyful and reverent atmosphere, we commenced with intercession, praying blessings upon our Lord Jesus and claiming protection under His precious blood.
Our Dynamic worship team then led us in a rousing session of praise (Sizowanyathela amademoni), (Bonge ujehovah phefumlo wami) and worship (Uyinkhosi Yamakhosi) ( See what the Lord has done).
Our man of God, Healing Evangelist JK Fenuku, began the sermon by sharing this powerful message: “I am sent to tell you that you are coming out of that pit.” He continued to explain this by using Joseph as an example. When Joseph was sold by his brothers, they did not know that they were sending him to his breakthrough. We, children of God, do not fail trials; we conquer them. So, whatever you are going through, know that God has positioned you there to disgrace your enemy. It is time you break that cycle of Satan defeating you in your life. Become a bridge that Satan can never cross.
As God has given our man of God a very dynamic scripture, we dived straight into the Word of God (Ephesians 6 vs 11) (2 Corinthians 10 vs 3-5). The Word of God only works for you if you understand it. Why are Christians losing battles? We know these scriptures, but we do not understand them, and that is why the enemy has imprisoned us. We quote these scriptures, but they don’t work because we don’t know the meaning of them.
Everyone talks about David and Goliath, but we misinterpret it. When David was told to put on Saul’s armor, he replied, “No, I don’t need yours. I need something special.” As children of God, we have two special things. When you know it and are happy knowing it to be true, then we can never lose our battles.
Ephesians is telling us that the armor we’re using is not our own, but God’s armor. Corinthians is telling us that the weapons we’re using are not our own, but God’s weapons. The Bible is not just a written word; it is power on its own. Satan and his demons are fighting you every moment of every day. As a child of God, you can never lose a battle because the armor and the weapons that you’re using are not your own, but God’s.
When David stood in front of Goliath, Goliath laughed and mocked him. But David replied, “I will cut your head off.” He was standing on something that Goliath did not know. He was standing on something that Saul did not know. He had that confidence in God because he knew that the armor and weapons he was using were not his own, but God’s. The weapons of God will demolish the weapons of the enemy.
We always say that those who are with us are more than those in the world. But once things go wrong in your life, you sit and complain, asking, “Why again?” You are contradicting yourself. As a child of God, the invisible armor is more than the visible armor of your enemy. Sometimes you judge your relationship with God because of what you have and don’t have. Just stand on the Word and put yourself in a position where you tell God, “I don’t have any other option. You are the only one.”
In this life, there is a price to pay for everything, but not all is up to God, neither is all up to us. But God has taken the heavier load and given us a light load. The weapons of God are mighty, and they destroy things that you can never destroy. They touch things that you can never touch. Those who win battles are the ones who have experience with God.
God will never send schoolboys to war. Like Moses at the Red Sea, in man’s logic and thinking, it was impossible to pass that sea.
Try your best to have experience with God, because without it, you can never win your battles. The question is, how can you have experience with God? You need to put God in a position where He has no choice but to help you. Stand on God’s Word. In order to have an experience with God, you have to do as He says without questioning God. If you don’t have any experience with God, you will question God’s instructions.
You cannot go to church and go home the same; something has to change. When you have the weapon and armor of God, not even a thousand or millions of demons can defeat you. So, begin to get angry with your situation. Get so angry that you go straight to the Word and command the enemy out of your life. The Bible says, “And the spirit was stirred.” It also says, “And the violent takes it by force.” Do you understand this? You have to get angry with your situation for it to change. Just trust God’s Word, and whatever you do shall prosper. Amen!
