The Let There Be Peace International Ministry family came together for a powerful Sunday service on August 3rd, 2025, filled with prayer and praise.
Our service commenced with our intercessors as they began to lead us in prayer, invoking the blood of Jesus upon ourselves and seeking God’s mercy. Our dynamic worship team then took over and began entering into His presence with glorious praise (Every praise) and worship (Spirit pray through me), (Pray to the father)
Have you experienced God?
The sermon began as our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK Funuku shared a powerful message from Scripture. (James 1 vs 6-7)
Anyone who asks in faith, let him believe and receive it but anyone who doubts must never expect to receive anything from God. We don’t follow majority. Just believe every word that God has said in your life. We are where we are because of what we believe.
The Bible states clearly that if you want to overcome this world, this is what you need… we use faith to overcome this world. Those of the world will sit and cry and become suicidal when there is trials in their life but children of God give God glory nonetheless.
Everything you need, God has already given.
(1 John 5 vs 4-5)
God has given us exactly what we need to overcome the world. To overcome sickness, poverty, setback, disappointments etc. We are so privileged to have someone like Jesus. He has made it so simple. Whatever you are going through just believe him and it is done. It is impossible to be in God and fail. That is why Paul said you are only a failure when you think of yourself as one.
God is calling you, will you answer?
What are you looking for? What are you believing God for? Is depression or anxiety trying to weigh you down? Try your best to believe Jesus everyday not only when in church. We have a God who loves us so much that he says all we have to do is look to him but we say no. This morning Jesus is calling you to believe in him, to trust in him.
Your doubt is the reason you are not prospering.
You have a Father who is telling you that if you are asking for something all you have to do is stay on that thing. Do not change your mind, when you are thinking about other things God will not answer your prayers. So why do we blame God when it is our own fault? We allow doubt to flood our minds. We allow others’ words to change our thinking and that is the reason that your prayers are not being answered. God is looking for someone who stands on His Word, someone who believes regardless. Is it not simple?
The reason why we fail at this is because we constantly compare our lives to others. Then we blame God because we don’t have what others have.
Stay away from negative people.
When you have friends around you that are always negative, RUN! We need people who will help us climb the ladder of faith. When you are asking God for something for so long and God is not giving you, you need to come to a point and tell yourself “God is not giving me this because it will destroy my life.” The day you begin to think about what the devil is telling you — that is the day of your downfall. Eve did not instantly eat the fruit. No, she constantly thought about what the snake told her. The same thing happens when a friend tells us something that is not of God. We begin to doubt what God has said in His Word.
A powerful prayer from our Man of God
Our Man of God then shared this prayer, “When I am praying, I always remember the scripture where God said, “Bless, I will bless you. Multiply, I will multiply you.” Tell God, honor Your Word, keep Your promises. Just stand on God’s Word. If He can do it for others, He can do it for you and me. Allow God to do His work. Believe in Him. Believe what He has promised.”
Prayer Point:
1.Oh Lord, honor Your Word.
2. August begins to give birth to my blessings, healing, breakthrough.
