Let There Be Peace International Ministries was filled with the Holy Spirit this Sunday, 10 November 2024. Every heart was open as our intercessor.
Mrs. Fathima Maharaj, led us in warfare prayer commanding every spirit of fear in our lives and families out in the name of Jesus and asking Jesus to bring an end to every evil doing of the wicked.
The congregation was electrified for Jesus as our dynamic worship team began to lead us in joyful praise (Holy is the Lord) and glorious worship (You are Holy) and (I surrender all).
Our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, then began the word by teaching us the importance of abiding by the voice of God.
Many Christians today have already pre-programmed their minds but because they are confused, they ask the man of God for advice yet they have already made up their minds on what they want to do. They miss the mark because they think that what they know is best and go according to that. They think their picture of life is brighter than God’s picture for their life. Why then do you run to God? If you have already decided, why do you want to hear the mind of God from the man of God?
There is no bargaining with God, take His word and prosper. The most beautiful path of life that you can have can only be seen by God so your best option if you want to go further in life is to hear to the voice of God. The path you want may seem beautiful from where you’re looking at it from but God’s path will come with many challenges at first yet it will be the most beautiful at the end. If God had spoken through the man of God and you do not take it then there will be unavoidable consequences coming your way.
As always, we relied on scripture to verify this word (2 Kings 2 vs 12-18). The men talking to Elisha here we’re not ordinary men, they were the sons of prophets yet they did not even know that God was speaking through Elisha. They thought they knew better and insisted on doing things their way even after being warned. Eventually Elisha had agreed to let them do as they wish. Often times people will push and push the man of God to that same place those men pushed Elisha.
Anytime you refuse to hold on to God and take His word seriously, you become prey to the enemy. You have dug your own grave. God does not want to kill our joy and happiness but he wants to protect us an overshadowed us so that the enemy cannot see it that is why you see Christians who have nothing one day and everything the next. God will never put you in a place where your enemies will be jealous of you, instead he will put you in a position where the enemy will laugh at you.
The sons of the prophets searched for 3 days but did not find Elijah because they did not listen to God. How many years have we wasted? How many years have we been stuck in the same place because we were declaring what we were not supposed to be declaring?
There is a specific place that God wants you to be for Him to meet you. A specific place where you receive your healing, prosperity and breakthrough. When you judge yourself on your weaknesses then you cannot get to that place. That is what delays us from receiving what He has for us. God is not a vendor. If you are not there at a specific time, He will not come the next day to meet you.
How do you see and take the voice of God through the man of God? Are you listening to it with a knowing heart that what he is saying from God? Are you disregarding it? When are you going to prepare yourself to take the voice of God seriously?
Many people with too much pride will complain and think that they can do it on their own but those who run to God in their situations and hardships will always find a solution. If you want to be healed, blessed and delivered you need to listen the voice of God. Do not ever try to come to God with a pre-programmed mind because you will never find your solution. God is not trying to stop your happiness, he is only trying to delay you that the impending danger on your way will pass you by. From now on let us change our mind-sets and hearts. Amen!
PRAYER POINT
Lord Jesus give me a hearing heart and remove every obstacle between my spirit and the spirit of God.
Every contrary spirit in my life I declare the Word of God in my life I command you out.
I close every door of disappointment the enemy has opened in my life in Jesus name.
