Submitting to God
As Healing Evangelist J.K. Fenuku began sharing the powerful message God had sent through him, he led us to James 4:7–8:
“God has given us two assignments: first, to submit ourselves to Him, and second, to resist the devil.”
The Power Source
“Our source of power to resist Satan comes from submitting to God. He gives us the power to resist the devil when we submit to Him.”
Personal Responsibility
“Because of this power, we become responsible for our reactions and our actions. Therefore, when something happens to you, it is not God’s fault. You become responsible for how you respond to that situation.”

Avoid Double-Mindedness
Scripture: James 1:8
“God does not like double-minded people. They do not know when to say yes or when to say no. They struggle to make decisions.”

“Authority and power have been given to us so that we can make good decisions.”
The Complication of Comparison
“God has made everything simple for us, but we make it complicated. Why? Because we look at others and want to be like them. When we are double-minded, we are constantly making the wrong judgments.”

“How do we submit to God? It is a beautiful thing to submit to Him.”
Where Submission Begins
“Submission begins when you tell yourself, ‘I need to be disciplined now.’ Discipline yourself. Stay away from the things you know are evil.”
The Warning:“If you give Satan even the smallest gap to enter your life, he will destroy you.”

“When you are disciplined and submit to God, there is nothing to resist. But if you do not submit yourself, then you will constantly be resisting the enemy.”
The Test:“Think of someone who is about to be retrenched from their job but is not worried because they have given everything to God. They know that God will provide for them. Can you look at yourself and say, ‘I know I have submitted everything to God’?”
