TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE IN LIFE

As the Lord has given us the grace to close the year in His holy presence, the congregation of Let There Be Peace International Ministry joined for the last time on the 31st night of December 2024. The members of the church were excited to start the cross-over service and arrived with an atmosphere of expectancy.

Our intercessor opened the service by leading us in intercession, we prayed and thanked God for the entire year of 2024 and glorified His holy name for all that He has done and is doing in our midst. Our dynamic worship team then further electrified the church with exalting praises (We want to see Jesus), (We go dey hail), (Big God), (Bambelela) and glorifying worship (Yahweh will manifest) and (Why should I fear).

Our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, began the sermon by taking us to scripture (2 Chronicles 1 vs 7) and (Joshua 24 vs 15). He encouraged the congregation, saying, “Whatever that is not God ordained in your life will not pass over into the New Year with you.” The only thing stopping your prayer is when you are holding someone in your heart. This shows Jesus that you cannot forgive others and that you have not benefited from His word. Today is the day to release yourself from those you are holding in your heart.

There are 2 kinds of people in life:

1. Those who say, “Lord, let your will be done.”

2. Those that God tells, “Alright, have it your way.

Many people today do not know what they want. They are on the fence. They come to church because of God’s healing that they have witnessed through others but they themselves have not given their all to Christ. When the New Year approaches, these people will say they are going to change themselves and become a new person but they don’t realize that changing your hairstyle or fashion sense does not make you a new person.

You have to come to a point where you recognize that you cannot do it alone. You have to let go of your own will and let God have His way in your life. The reason why so many people cannot allow Jesus to take control is because they have an excessive amount of pride within them. Where do you stand in the eyes of Jesus? Are you person 1 or person 2? Do people look at your life and admire God through you or do they look at you in shame?

Many people who claim to be a Christian aren’t Christians in the eyes of God. They claim they are saved but do not know what they are saved from? As Christians we are saved from those things that have kept us away from Jesus. It is only the grace of God that has brought us to where we are today. Examine yourself and where you stand in Christ and allow Jesus to take control of your life so that you can reach all that He has in store for you. Amen!

In the name of Jesus, I break my own will, by the blood of Jesus let my own will be broken
