As the last Sunday of the year came around, on December 29th 2024, our church of Let There Be Peace International Ministry gathered to celebrate God for what He has done in for us 2024.
In a joyous mood, we began with intercession as our intercessor led us in prayer. We prayed and blessed our Lord Jesus, thanked Him and covered ourselves with His prescious blood. Our dynamic worship team then led us in jubilant praises (You are able) and adorning worship (Spirit pray through me), (Abba Father).
Our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku then began to share the word that God has blessed him with, saying, “Sometimes you have to get very angry with your situation.” When we watch a movie we do not see the effort and time that it took to make that movie but we enjoy the movie. We don’t see what is happening behind the scenes but we marvel at the finished product. It is the same way in our own personal lives, God is always doing something in your situation and at the end there is something beautiful to enjoy.
With that, we turned to scripture to dig deep into this word (John 9 vs 1-3), (John 20 vs 11-15).
Whatever that you are passing through in life has a purpose and that purpose is for Jesus to manifest Himself. When you look at people’s lives, those who have it all do not look for Jesus. He is closer to those who are going through hardships. Those great men and women in the Bible faced their challenges so that we can learn from them and gain faith from their experiences and so we can look at the Bible and say, “Jesus saved them so He will save me.”
In your anguish you cannot identify your healing and blessing. People now, have their blessings laid at their feet but because of their anguish they cannot see it. In the same way Mary did not realize she was speaking to angels and that the very same man she was looking for was standing right before her, we cannot see that what we are seeking is staring us in the face. In everything we face, Jesus is saying, “Keep moving forward.” but we cannot hear it because of our state of anger.
When you are in that state of anger you cannot hide your true feelings, everything you see and say in that state of anger is what was in your heart from the beginning. Doubt starts to creep in to you slowly and when it finds route, it begins to operate.
When you stay in Jesus, no matter how long it takes, whatever He has promised you will surely come to pass. You need to remember that He is working behind the scenes in your life and when your blessings and breakthrough come to pass all those around you will recognize that it is the hand of Jesus in your life. You might not have received your blessings yet because He is waiting for you to remove certain people or habits but when it is the right time He will surely do mighty things in your life. Look at how far God has brought you already and begin to give Him glory!
