The congregates of Let There Be Peace International Ministry came together on (27 October 2024) to join hearts for a service of healing, deliverance and breakthrough. The members gathered in joyous celebration, ready to give glory to Jesus.
Our intercessor, Mr. Jarus Naidoo, led us in warfare prayer commanding out every evil smoke that we have been breathing in and every foul spirit from our lives in the mighty name of Jesus.
As we prayed in unison the atmosphere was electrified for Jesus. Our Dynamic Worship Team then began to lead the congregation in uplifting praises (If I be lifted), (We give Him the highest praise) and revenant worship (It all belongs to you) and (You deserve the glory).
“Allow the HOLY SPIRIT to be who he is in every area of your life”, our Man of God, Healing Evangelist JK. Fenuku, began with this powerful revelation straight from the throne of God. We began by visiting 2 neighbours, namely, Prayer and Faith. Many Christians today fast and pray but nothing happens in their lives and that is because they are just putting on a show and there are also Christians who talk about faith but when a situations arise, they do not put it into action. As the Bible says, “Faith is the foundation in which our prayers are answered.” The claim that when you pray things happen is false. Prayer only changes you as a person, it changes your thinking and character but Faith is what brings forth your blessings and breakthrough.
As a Christian, hard times should never stop you but rather they should encourage you to exercise your faith in Christ. Through every situation never stray from God. When one stays in prayer their whole character begins to change and that is how their faith grows but you should never go to prayer with a condemned heart. When there is bitterness in your heart and you do not mean what you are saying, do not pray because God will not answer those prayers.
As we continued, our Man of God took us to scripture (Luke 11:1) to learn more of this word. The disciples had realized that they were not able to portray that same character that Jesus portrayed. The apostles asked Jesus to teach them how to pray because even though they were with Him, they were still going to the temple to perform sacrifices but after God taught them, there was no need for it anymore. As they learnt how to pray, the character of Jesus began to form within them.
Prayer and Faith goes hand-in-hand, wherever you find authentic, spiritual and anointed prayer you will find unwavering faith. If you are praying only when you are facing problems, do not expect answers because that type of prayer does not bring answers. A Christian without faith will cry, beg and plead when praying and that is because there is no relationship with God. When you have a relationship with Him there is no need for crying or pleading, all you have to do is speak because the belief that God is saying something in that situation is now in your heart.
One cannot have genuine faith without prayer and cannot pray without reading the word of God. What is the point of praying with a bitter heart? Remember that even those you hate with a passion, God still loves them so you do not have any other option but to forgive them and let them go if you want to be a follower of Christ. Prayer is an ongoing thing and faith simultaneously follows it. These 2 neighbours do not fight but they work together in harmony, love and peace.
Nowadays prayer is seen as a punishment but the pleasures of the world is seen as a blessing. Whatever you are looking for in life you need to go to the right channel to get it. You cannot go to a car dealerships and expect to find rice. With that same thought, we cannot go to the world and expect to find genuine joy and authentic blessings.
Are you praying with a free heart? Never you blame God for unanswered prayers. If your prayers are not answered you need to take a look within yourself and change something about yourself. Prayer is going to God and talking to Him and allowing Him to talk back to you. When God talks to you it is impossible to feel nothing, something has to be moved within your spirit. When you are right with Him, remember that it is only a matter of time for your breakthrough. Your situation is not permanent.
As we continued we turned to the word once again (Mark 9: 23-24). In this scripture Jesus was coming from the mountain of transfiguration and the others were not able to heal the boy. When you do not have the relationship with God, you need to build it. In order to build your faith you need to stay in prayer and feed on the word of God. Faith is a currency that you need to have in order to purchase that product that you are looking for. Wherever you see spirit filled prayer there is unwavering faith and wherever there is faith there has always been prayer.
Do not be just an observer of others testimonies, allow God to be who He is in your life!
