God did not fail to show up yet again at Let There Be Peace International Ministry (LTBPIM) on the 21st April 2024, as the intercessor Miss Sharlene began to lead the congregant in prayer. She began by assuring the people that God is not only “able”, but He is also “willing” to heal, deliver, and bless us according to our needs. It was a powerful time in prayer as the congregation began to use the blood of Jesus to close every door that we may have opened to the enemy, as we came against every table of the enemy that we may have eaten from.
The church began to pray boldly, commanding every dead thing in their lives to rise again in Jesus name. What an awesome time of prayer, taking charge in the presence of God.
It was an electrifying eruption of praise as our Dynamic Worship Team took to the floor with energizing praises (Thambira Jehovah), and (Big God), as the congregation joined in with dancing. The Spirit of God was most tangible as the team began to lead us in worship with (Worthy is the Lamb) and (Yahweh). Hearts and spirits were freed and ready to receive as the man of God joined the worship team with singing and dancing before he began to share the word of God.
The atmosphere was so rich with expectancy as the Man of God Healing Evangelist JK Fenuku began to declare, “God is here in His full power to bless someone today, to deliver and set someone free today”, as he began to teach the congregant the importance of PRAYING THROUGH. Our scripture readings were taken from 2 Corinthians 10:3-4, and Matthew 21:18-22 as the man of God continued to say that praying through our unbelief and doubt will bring you to a state and mental attitude of knowing that somewhere and somehow, God has answered you. He went on to share, that Jesus asked the disciples to pray for an hour at minimum, and he began to ask the congregants, “What are you looking for with five minutes prayers? Who are you talking to?” The church was in good response as the Man of God said that it is the nature of Jesus to pray. In every situation Jesus prayed, before choosing His disciples…He prayed, before speaking to the crowds…He prayed.
Today, we sit in pity parties instead of seeking God, we take our problems to friends instead of taking it to prayer so that God can direct and answer us. We are a faithless generation, lacking in prayer, hence we do not know the legality that makes us children of the most high God. He began to point out that in the word of God, Elijah declared rain but still prayed through what he declared, Moses had to seek the face of God and pray through where God was leading him, the prophet Habakkuk had to pray through, Gideon had to pray through, yet today the church has become lazy choosing rather to moan and gossip than to pray.
He reiterated that at Let there be peace international ministry (LTBPIM), we do not pray hoping, but we pray knowing! The Man of God stated that many doubt God because they do not spend enough time in prayer. Everything that we need, healing, deliverance and blessing has already been delivered, but we need to fight for it through prayer. He continued to encourage the congregants by saying that the apostles passed through many things through fervent prayer, and the baton has now been passed onto the church to pray and overcome, as the enemy has already been defeated yet the children of God are still afraid of him because of lacking prayer.
Man of God led us in prayer to ask Jesus to break that chain that causes us to fail to spend time with Him in prayer.
He closed the sermon by saying, prayer allows God to show you bit by bit where you are going. In God everything is a process, and every level has a purpose. Only prayer can take us from level to level to our destiny.
